Zac Blakely is one of the main characters in Mako: Island of Secrets and lead male protagonist, as well as the secondary antagonist of the second half of season one. He is portrayed by Chai Hansen. Zac was born as a merman to a powerful Nothern mermaid called Nerissa and is, just like his mother and sister Mimmi, a descendant from a royal line of merpeople who ruled the seas.
