What would cause this? - Bambu Lab X1-Carbon - Bambu Lab Community Forum

The original hot end ended up getting bent (don’t know how, but it did). I replaced it with the included replacement. I did a calibration and everything looked fine. I went to print a simple model on extra fine 0.08mm on the BBL textured PEI plate (as see in the pic) with Overture PETG. As you can see, the nozzle tip gouged the plate and broke off and ended up bending the hot end. What would have caused this to happen? Did I miss a step in the installation of the replacement hot end? Is t
