The 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) was released in January 1999 as the successor to the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33). It underwent a facelift in 2000 and ceased production in 2002. In comparison with the R33, the R34 has a shorter wheelbase and smaller dimensions to improve handling.
