Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!' Season 3 Announces New Cast

The Sneaker Bunko 35th anniversary event revealed three new cast members and a special promotional video for the Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 3 (KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3) television anime on Sunday. The third anime season is scheduled to premiere in 2024. Iris: Kanon Takao (Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru.) Claire: Sayuri Yahagi (Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata) Rein: Reina Ueda (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) Yuujirou Abe (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo!) is directing the third season at Drive, with chief director Takaomi Kanasaki (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! director). Makoto Uezu (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu) is in charge of the series composition. Kouichi Kikuta (Tamayomi) is designing the characters. Studio Deen produced the first two anime seasons in Winter 2016 and 2017, each running for ten episodes. The Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!: Kurenai Densetsu (Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! - Legend of Crimson) anime film by J.C.Staff opened in Japan in August 2019, adapting the fifth volume. The anime, also known by its short title Konosuba, adapts Natsume Akatsuki's comedy fantasy light novel, which he originally penned on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website from December 2012 to October 2013. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its Sneaker Bunko label that month, featuring illustrations by Kurone Mishima (Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records). The light novel ended with the 17th volume in May 2020. Konosuba has a cumulative 10 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
