Review: 'Ready Player One' brings Spielberg's fanboy to the

The more you’re familiar with 80s pop culture, the more you’ll enjoy Steve Spielberg’s adrenaline rush “Ready Player One” based on the novel by Ernest Cline.  Set in the year 2045, the world has become overpopulated, fossil fuels have been depleted, and a virtual reality simulator called the OASIS proves to be civilizations only escape from a bleak reality.  Spielberg blends the CGI universe with live-action in the real world creating a nice balance that gives the audience a break from the overwhelming special effects.
