As a Sales & Service and Outbound Telemarketing Specialist at Sedgwick Ireland, I apply my marketing and sales skills to generate leads, nurture relationships, and close deals with potential customers. I work with CRM systems, Microsoft Excel and communication tools on a daily basis in order to deliver excellent service and sales performance, exceeding targets and expectations.

Throughout the various jobs that I have worked in throughout my academic years, I have learned and developed so many key skills such as customer relations, communication, confidence, teamwork, organisation, time and workload management and many more highly important skills.

In my previous roles I have gained great insights into many aspects of business. I have worked with computer systems and CRM systems, I have dealt with every type of customer and have been fortunate to have access to years of experience working with both "good" and "bad" customer situations and experiences.

Customer Service and Sales Assistant roles have really shaped my confidence and approach when dealing with customers and have opened my eyes to the world of Sales and Marketing, which of course was why I chose to specialise in Sales and Marketing in my final year of my Bachelors degree in Dublin City University, studying International Business.

Work aside, throughout my years studying at DCU, I have taken part in a myriad of important Business, Sales and Marketing modules, workshops, hackathons and have also worked towards and earned extracurricular certificates in Marketing from the likes of Hubspot and Google Ads.

Furthermore, I am fluent in Spanish after a number of years of intensive study into the language which was aided hugely by my course. As I studied International Business, Spanish was the language that I chose, and since I had already a lot of Spanish experience prior to college, the Spanish modules in DCU really helped me hone my Spanish skills further, especially with business through Spanish.
