Anko Uguisu is a side character in Call of the Night. She is a private detective who specializes in cases involving vampires, and has made it her mission to kill all vampires. Ten years ago, she went by her real name, Kyouko Mejiro, and was a member of a literature club at the school Nico Hirata taught the night class of. She became Nazuna Nanakusa's first friend until her father was turned into a vampire, killing her mother and forcing her to kill her own father. Afterwards, Kyouko quit school
